Post Malone, or should we say Austin Richard Post, is back with a brand new album! The GRAMMY Award-winning artist dropped AUSTIN on all music streaming platforms as a part of this week’s New Music Friday, and we already can’t get enough of it.

Featuring 17 must-listen tracks, including smash hits like “Chemical,” “Mourning” and “Overdrive,” AUSTIN serves as Post Malone’s fifth studio album, and fans have been waiting on the edge of their seats for it ever since the talented singer-songwriter’s announcement back in May.

On May 16th, the chart-topping artist took to social media to share that he had this extremely exciting project in the works, ultimately sending his 24 million followers into an absolute frenzy.

“proud to announce my new album titled “Austin” dropping on July 28th 🥹 this whole deal has been one of the most challenging, rewarding, and exciting records I’ve worked on. i feel it captures who i am as a man and as an artist in this moment. thank y’all so much for your patience, and thank you for being there with me in my hardest times. i love y’all so much, and am ready to f*****g party with y’all. cheers, and keep spreading love,” he wrote in an Instagram post.

Some of today’s biggest stars commented on this post, expressing their support for Post Malone and his new musical venture. Liam Payne of One Direction even wrote, “this album f*****g slaps so far and i saw it was your birthday just feel amazing to wake up to your life now on your special day… p.s. i wish i moved like you on stage it’s the realist” — We need to see this collaboration happen!

Currently in the midst of his If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying Tour, can fans expect Post Malone to perform some of this new music live? I guess we will have to wait and see!

Aside from Post Malone’s soon-to-be hit album, Travis Scott, Trippie Redd, Flo Milli, Tyler Childers, Carly Rae Jepsen, Tori Kelly, Johnny Orlando, elijah woods and more of our favorite artists put out some brand new tunes that are sure to be topping the charts in no time.

Also as a part of this week’s New Music Friday, Scott Hoying of Pentatonix put out first-ever solo project titled Parallel. “Creating it was so much more than just writing songs. It was a thrilling, life-changing, transformative journey,” the talented singer-songwriter prefaced, before diving into an extremely heartfelt Instagram caption about the creation of his brand new EP.

“About 2 years ago, I started messing around in protools seeing if I could learn a few things about music production. Ummm… I became hyperfixated & obsessed VERY quickly. To be able to flesh out any idea instantly w/ every tool you could possibly need whenever you want… was SO empowering to me. So I kept writing & writing & producing & producing… nonstop. Every night. No goal in mind. Hundreds of songs/ideas,” he shared with his one million Instagram followers, before gushing for a total of seven more paragraphs.

The talented-singer songwriter concluded his lengthy post as simple and straightforward as he could be: “The EP is called Parallel and it comes out 7.28… To be honest, it’s pretty f*****g great!” — We seriously could not agree more!

To add even more excitement to this week’s beloved releases, several of our favorite artists teamed up to make some musical magic, dropping quite a few collaborations that are absolutely obsessed with.
