Star: LeAnn Rimes lied about the ring Eddie gave her for Christmas, obviously
Shortly after Christmas, we discussed the diamond ring LeAnn Rimes allegedly “got” from Eddie Cibrian. LeAnn was so proud of the ring that she posted two photos of it on her Instagram. Like with so many of her showy Instagrams, LeAnn tagged the IG with the name of the jeweler/jewelry store that designed the ring, Mantis7 Jewels, as well the hashtags #cushioncut #rosegold #happy #blessed #loved. It was enough to make most people #barf. But some people wondered… why give a special shoutout to the jeweler? Why would LeAnn try to give publicity (possibly paid publicity) to a jeweler that provided a “gift” to LeAnn that was supposed to be from Eddie, for Christmas? Well, as you would expect, Eddie didn’t really buy the ring for her. She designed it, bought it for herself and let Eddie “give” it to her for Christmas. I wonder what he really got her for Christmas? Socks?
LeAnn Rimes can’t stop gushing about pricey presents from her husband Eddie Cibrian – too bad she’s the one actually paying for them. On Christmas Eve, LeAnn posted an Instagram of a ring allegedly given to her by Edie, but was left red-faced when the jeweler commented that it was LeAnn who bought and designed the bauble and that Eddie had nothing to do with it.
“That post was such a desperate attempt to flaunt her lavish love life, and it backfired,” said a source, noting that this isn’t the first time she’s tried to paint eternally unemployed Eddie as Daddy Warbucks. In August she falsely claimed that Eddie bought her a Celine bag when it was actually purchased by her assistant, with LeAnn’s own money. Last year, LeAnn boasted online that Eddie built her a chalkboard only to have a follower point out that the board was for sale at the resort LeAnn and Eddie had just visited.
“Every time she tries to fantasize about her marriage, someone on her page will expose her lies. It’s becoming an embarrassing pattern.”

Obvious source quotes are obvious. Yes, LeAnn wants to project this fantasy, luxury, wealthy lifestyle onto her marriage. In her mind, Eddie is a devoted husband who showers her with gifts and spends all day, every day looking after her and taking care of her every whim and need. The reality is… not that. The reality is that Eddie is a broke, barely employed actor who can’t even glance at another woman without LeAnn A) freaking out and B) single white female-ing said woman. Also: I do remember reading something about the chalk board back when it first happened, but that’s still so funny to me. EDDIE MADE IT. With his own two hands! Except he just bought it at a gift shop because it was literally the cheapest thing in the store.
