Rachel is the daughter of Isabel (Padua), who founded The Padua Charitable Fund, and Michael Charles Grant, 12th Baron de Longueuil (born Michael Grant de Longueuil), a retired doctor, hypnotist, and artist. Rachel was born in Manila, Philippines, and grew up in Nottingham, England. She resides in New York. Rachel is married to Biaggi Luggage CEO, Stephen Hersh.

Rachel’s father, who is British, has English, some Irish, 1/64th French-Canadian, and remote Scottish and Welsh, ancestry. Rachel’s mother is Filipino, and is also said to have Spanish ancestry.
