Jocelyn Seagrave is an American actress. She is the daughter of Wendy Law-Yone, a journalist and author, and Sterling Vinton Seagrave, a historian, journalist, and author.
Jocelyn’s father was American, and her mother was Burmese, from Mandalay, Burma, and was of one half Burmese, one quarter Chinese, and one quarter English descent.
Jocelyn is married to Ted Fundoukos, with whom she has two children.
Jocelyn’s paternal grandfather was Gordon Stifler Seagrave (the son of Albert Ernest Seagrave and Alice Victoria Haswell Vinton). Gordon was an American missionary, physician, and author, who was born in Rangoon, Burma. Albert was born in Denison, Iowa, the son of Joseph Day Seagrave and Rachel Caroline Holbrook. Alice was born in Burma, the daughter of Justus Brainerd Vinton and Julia Ann Eliza Haswell, both also born in Burma.
Jocelyn’s paternal grandmother was Marion Grace “Tiny” Morse (the daughter of Samuel Theodore Morse and Grace May Munhall). Samuel was the son of Theodore Morse and Emeline Welton. Grace was the daughter of William Henry Munhall and Margaret W. Hulbert.
Jocelyn’s maternal grandfather was Edward Michael Law-Yone. Edward was a journalist, author, and official of Burma, who was born in Kamaing, Burma. Edward was of half Burmese and half English descent.
Jocelyn’s maternal grandmother was named Eleanor. Eleanor was of half Burmese and half Chinese descent.
