Disgraceful Thomas Ravenel Sinks To A New Low In His Custody Battle With Southern Charm Star K

The custody battle between Southern Charm stars Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel is starting to get ugly. After police arrested Ravenel for sexual assault charges last fall, Dennis filed for primary custody of their two children – Kensie, 4, and Saint, 3. But now, Ravenel has fired back and has made some shocking allegations against his ex.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the disgraced South Carolina politician claimed that he should have primary custody of the children because Dennis still has a drug problem.

Ravenel claimed that Dennis “abuses prescription drugs, is engaged in the use of illegal drugs, and consumes alcohol in combination thereof regularly” and “has been intoxicated by the abuse of prescription drugs and/or use of illegal drugs while [their children are] in [her] sole care.”

The 56-year-old added that Dennis buys, sells, and trades prescription drugs with her friends, Southern Charm cast members, and producers to support her habit. Ravenel also claimed that it was producers – not him – that asked his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Ashley Jacobs, to make defamatory statements about Dennis for a storyline.

But, Ravenel didn’t stop there. He also alleged that Dennis encouraged their former nanny, Dawn Ledwell, to falsely accuse him of sexual assault and to file a criminal complaint against him. He says that Dennis did this on the heels of the “Me Too” movement so the accusations would help her get custody of the kids.

Ravenel says that when Dennis has their kids for an extended period of time, she gets “overwhelmed” and is consistently late to appointments. He also accused his baby momma of committing a hit-and-run in October.

Dennis and Ravenel put a joint custody agreement in place after Dennis completed treatment for drug and alcohol abuse, and also passed multiple drug tests. She had previously asked a judge to deny Ravenel’s request to maintain that agreement because of the sexual assault allegations and his upcoming trial.

Ravenel is also suing Bravo in an effort to stop the network from using footage of Dennis discussing his legal trouble.

Neither Kathryn Dennis, Ravenel, or Bravo have commented on these latest developments.

New episodes of Southern Charm will return to Bravo later this year. But, Thomas Ravenel will not be returning for Season 6 because the network fired him after his arrest.
