'7' must-hear tracks from David Guetta's new album

Publish date: 2024-07-17

On Friday (September 14), French DJ and producer David Guetta released his highly anticipated seventh studio album, aptly named 7.

The album is packed with bops, including David’s previously released ‘2U’ featuring Justin Bieber, ‘Goodbye’ featuring Jason Derulo, Nicki Minaj and Willy William, ‘Flames’ with Sia, and ‘Don’t Leave Me Alone’ featuring Anne-Marie.

However, the album also includes a stellar line up of unheard collaborations which not only highlight David’s vivacious production skills but prove that he is one of the most sought-after DJs in the industry.

To celebrate the release of David Guetta’s new album 7, we’ve decided to pick out seven tracks from the body of work which you must listen to immediately.

1. ‘Say My Name’ featuring Bebe Rexha and J Balvin

Teaming up with vocal powerhouse Bebe Rexha and Latin star J Balvin, ‘Say My Name’ is laced with an irresistibly dark calypso beat which is perfect for the dance floor at any time of year.

2. ‘She Knows How To Love Me’ featuring Jess Glynne and Stefflon Don

Sampling Little Richard’s ‘Tutti Frutti’, ‘She Knows How To Love Me’ sees David team up with British artists Jess Glynne and Stefflon Don. The track grips you from the off, and further captivates with its brassy tones and hand claps.

3. ‘Like I Do’ featuring Martin Garrix and Brooks

With production from David, Martin Garrix and Brooks, ‘Like I Do’ is an infectious dancefloor banger which will make you want to lose yourself in the beat.

4. ‘Blame It On Love’ featuring Madison Beer

‘Blame It On Love’ sees David team up with American songstress Madison Beer. The result is a danceable yet chilled mid-tempo track which is best played in an open top car at full volume.

5. ‘Battle’ featuring Faouzia

‘Battle’ is an euphoric power ballad which showcases rising songstress’ Faouzia’s stunning vocals perfectly, making her one to watch in the future.

6. ‘Drive’ featuring Delilah Montagu and Black Coffee

Reminiscent of Jonas Blue’s take on ‘Fast Car’, ‘Drive’ is a deep/tropical house offering which combines David and Black Coffee’s production styles with Delilah’s haunting vocal.

7. ‘Light Headed’ featuring Sia

Is there a better duo than David Guetta and Sia? The pair have released so many incredible collaborations over the years (including ‘Flames’ which also appears on the album), that it’s hard to imagine what they’ll come up with next. ‘Light Headed’ is a another huge offering which has left us wanting a whole album of just Sia x David Guetta tracks.
